I love working with clients to find out how they want to feel and live in a space before even considering a colour palette or design style. The personal spaces in our home set the stage for so many important moments in our lives, so it’s crucial that these spaces comfort, support and inspire us on a daily basis, as well as provide functionality.
My passion for cocooning colour and use of pattern means that I strive to create interiors that are packed with personality yet are inviting and cosy. I enjoy creating homes that give a narrative of who lives there as you move from room to room, so they feel as if they have been built up organically over time, rather than being overly curated.
My personal style is to use rich and impactful colours that create a cosy feeling in a space. I like to add layers of texture through fabrics, plants, and natural materials. Beautiful lighting is also important to me. When we consider lighting from the start of a design, it can completely transform the space and help it reach its full potential.
A successful space, for me, is one that reflects the personality of the person who lives there. When you walk into the space, you can get a sense of who they are. That's why at StudioME, we work hard to understand our clients and create unique designs that reflect their personal story.
